v8 swap is very easy, the stock v6 tranny will work but it won’t hold up as well as the v8 tranny, and get the v8 computer and wire in the extra 2 injectors into the wiring harness and your set. 318 or 360?, a hemi swap will be much more involved and will require some fabrication and what not.

The 95 V6 T5 won’t last long behind a V8… it’s about as weak as factory T5’s get. You will need a 5.0 flywheel. The 3.8 T-5 will work fine, its strong enough for your low mod 5.0. You must use a 94-95 5.0 T-5 bellhousing, 5.0 shim plate, and 5.0 157-t 50oz flywheel. Gotta remember that the flywheel must fit the bellhousing and vice versa, this also affects the starter motor. Use 5.0 10.5″ clutch. 3.8 or 94-95 clutch arm will work.
