Plus Eiskalt has plenty of CC (including a 12s freeze to all enemys, which makes it the best active ability except maybe Murglums AOE instakill) and decent mobility and survivability.

Of the free heroes, I think Catha is the best. She does an incredible job of slowing down the rush of small enemies. Lilith is pretty strong too. Of the paid heroes, I do think Bravebark is the strongest. Denas is one of the best all-all round non-legendary heroes because of his range, AOE, and tower boosting, all of which can get pretty ridiculous late. His mobility is awful, so bear that in mind. Lastly, Thor, the last hero, isn’t broken but is quite good. He is the only hero to have magic resist (he also has armor) and is generally quite tanky.
