Help! How can I remove a stripped wheel nut on a spacer.
A wheel spacer nut, the nut used on the 15 mm spacers from Garagelines has become stripped and I can not remove it. Is there a tool or some method that can be applied to get it removed? These nots are not too “deep” and again, the nut has become stripped or “bugured”, not the thread. Can’t get a 3/4″ inch or 19 mm socket to bite. Pics attached.

The best way to do this at home will be with a torch. The aluminum will expand more and much faster than the axle hub. Use MAPP gas and run it around and around the spacer near the hub. It may take several minutes, but it will expand enough to just pull off (wear gloves!).
