Dial your Air/Fuel ration in to 12.8:1 at WOT, and try somewhere around 36 degrees of total advance for your timing curve. With a well tuned 304 that is fresh I think you could come close. Make it breathe and you will love it. A good cam will help out immensly as well.

For some odd reason the rebuilder told me that the first bore size for AMCs was .020 over instead of the more standard .030 like chevy.
