I did a 100% water change on it because I was moving it. the new water source reads a tds of 39. 1 day later its reading 345. that’s crazy. I was planning on putting shrimp in it but I cant go over 150.

Im cleaning the substrate before introducing it into the new 55 gal tank and I’m wondering if this is going to greatly diminish the nutrient rich qualities it once had.
