In October 2004, I had a workunit under Seti@Home 3.08 that produced a strong line a little to the left of the middle of the scale. The workunit may have run for 5 seconds and then exited. Later I have played a downloaded .avi file (for Windows Media Player) on my PC which shows the famous “WOW” signal.
