If you bring the pipes out up behind the radiator some how or the other pipe out horizontally say 100mm above the base of the radiator and add a U to the end to connect to the radiator valves – no pipes making keeping the floor clean awkward then. The pipes can be clipped to the wall. I’ve done all of our downstairs rads like that.
