I had a 30’ Cargomate stacker and it would crush my Dodge 3500 dually. The trailer was 9500+-lbs empty, add a car, gear, spare, generator, fuel and it is close to 15,000 lbs. Maybe a small fifth wheel stacker if they make one but not a tag even with a 15,000lb weight distribution hitch.

We are pulling a very similar setup as you are referring to 28’ stacker hitch mount. 2 cars golf cart etc. However it is with a 2013 3500 mega cab dually with a cummins. You are talking about a very very heavy setup which in no way will be pulled by the truck you purchased. You might be able to move it around the parking lot however.

Expert Reply: You do not have to have a dually truck to tow a 5th wheel. You just need a truck that has the capacity to tow the trailer once loaded and ready to tow. The best option is going to be a 1-ton diesel long bed but a 3/4 ton will be fine provided it has the capacity to handle the trailer. I strongly advise a long bed.
