In March 2017, the Department of Health & Social Care (DHSC) published the consultation ‘Availability of gluten-free foods on prescription.’ This presented respondents with 3 options for change: Option 1: Make no changes to the National Health Service (General Medical Services Contracts) (Prescription of Drugs etc.) Regulations 2004.
